Well the second prototype should be ready rather soon... I'd say in the coming weeks, but I'm not in the secret of the gods.

The final watch should be ready this summer. June/July was announced first. It might be a bit later with the modifications to the first prototype...

There is just a small delay as the lume of hands was not matching the one of dials so they had to be remade. This represents a small delay in delivery of prototypes but will also speed up mass production.

Totally agree, most important is the quality of the final result.

I too agree with that.Totally!
Better a great watch delivered a few days, weeks or even months late than a poorly finished, not up to par, piece.
I mean you're upset when waiting then quality remains and you forget waiting. Or the reverse when makers are too hasty!

We are now waiting for factory to finish production of the prototype hands of the Borealis Sea Dragon.

In the meantime we can see that the orange dial is now more appealing and orange.

Lume of dials and bezels are also now improved.

also the external ring is now improved without sharp edges

What has been taking longer is matching the orange of dial to orange of hands something the factory managed to get it right today (as dial is made by a partner of theirs and hands by a different partner).

According to them samples should be shipped by end of this week.

The second prototypes of the Borealis Sea Dragon are now on route to us.

Project is moving well and all improvements from the first prototype are now made (aside from drilled lugs that will be made just for production version).

You can also see lume has also improved compared to first iteration.
