1 hirsch 40478850-2-22 rubber strap black

Hello Friends,

I pulled the trigger on two of these yesterday; S/S - Blue/Orange, Bronze - Black/green. These will be the extreme Divers of my collection. they will find a home next to the original Ocean Diver. I have a Quick question that may be a bit off topic. looking at the wrist shot of the Blue dial on the Hirsh band, I thought I was seeing dark blue. As the pre order included A black Hirsh band, I begain to look for the hirsch 40478850-2-22 in the blue color. I quickly realized the band does not come in blue, hence the one in the photo must be the black included. Does anyone know where I could find a very similar band in a dark blue? I do not like the style with the holes in them at all. Thanks for any help.

Hello Carlos,

I miss one combination that I would consider to offer: Blue dial inlay and black bezel with white 15minutes. This Combo I could hardly resist. At the moment there is only blue blue or black black to order but no blue black.

This won't be a problem as long as bezels can be sold separately

Where are Poseidon watches made? Swiss Made?

I am interested in one Point because that will be the deepest dive Watch in my Collection.
How will the watches be tested or certificated to ensure that they will be waterresisstant up to 3500m? Nobody will ever test ist for oneself i guess. Is there a certain Process?

Watches prior assembly are tested to a pressure of 450 atmospheres.

Once assembled all are tested to a pressure of 300 meters and one randomly tested from a batch of 50 watches at a pressure of 450 atmospheres. If watch fails test all watches of that batch are to be reassembled with new gaskets and all of that batch retested at 450 atmospheres.

A watch to be labelled at a watch resistance of X meters has to be tested at X meters + 30% more.

The lume looks great! However, the leather strap looks unfinished... Hope this won't be the look of the final strap...

What makes you say that??? The rudimentary looks of the strap?

The strap in photos is not the one that will be used in production but it is a very high quality one made of top grade calf leather.

Let's not confuse an artisan look of a 100% hand made strap to a cheap product which is not the case as only premium leather has been used on both sides of this strap.

Sorry but for me that is not what qualifies a strap to be of good or bad quality.

This strap was made on purpose with this look in hand and was made with premium leather. It is very soft when wearing and the crude look makes it all.

It is a mater of different tastes not quality.

BTW, the final leather strap will be a thick one ? similar thickness as the one in the photo ?

Yes, thickness will be similar, that is why I sent this one to factory for testing.
