Coming in late to the thread but I would not be be at all hesitant to pick up a piece with an STP movement. I have no personal experience with them but based on specs shown, I see no downside.

Seems I may have been in a hurry when putting in the preorder and did not realize I was choosing at that point. I went and found the confirm email and I appear to have ordered the BSFIIBLACKC3. Oh well, dilemma solved I guess.

I have both (sorry, no pics) and I have been quite happy with them. Black went on the Seahawk and the orange went on a Seiko 007. Solid and good looking straps. The material was not as soft as a BC but feels more rugged.

Mine does not have any adhesive that I have noticed.

I subscribe too but do not always get consistently notified. It is not a big issue since I drop in on the forum frequently. (maybe too frequently)
