Blue Big Triangle No Date final invoice received... and paid.
I went the slow route, so now... the waaaaiiiiiit. I'm very impatient but won't be really available to enjoy it until Friday or Saturday next week anyway.
Looks sexy as hell... Can't wait to get mine (needs to be paid and shipped first, but that'll arrive soon... )
I guess I'll start it on its nato, and then possibly get a mesh. We'll see.
Makes sense, doing all black versions, first no date, then date, and then all blue versions, first no date, then date...
Well, I'll wait a bit more, then ;)
So far the only design that has me (a bit) interested.
Maybe making the minutes hand more special (pure rectangle? Lego-ish like on the Sinn U1? Only the tip lumed and standing after a thinner flat black part?) and/or the markers on the dial (arrow-ish like the hour hand?) could push me over...
On the discussion about the crown, I feel like keeping it where it is (at 3) is better, to give a supplementary level of differentiation with respect to the puck. That, plus obviously the technical reasons, seem to me reason enough to keep it at 3.
About the hands, same as stewie, I have softer...
Not too sure about that one.
Sure enough the design is interesting, and the bezel exchanging system might be a great thing. But I passed the "puck" when Halios introduced it because, well... I didn't warm to it, and now even after more time to get used to this design and the advantage of a...
I love the Miyota 90XX series, but if the prices are going up too much and they get hard to get by, I say for it with the STP
They don't seem a bad alternative at all...
I think I would be quite tempted by the blue one.
Actually.... I am!!!
Were did you find that? it's rather out of the box and could well work very well with a blue Estoril!
Continuing to patina very nicely (indeed, the colours are quite a bit richer and brighter than what you can get on a brass piece!)... And the time keeping is GREAAAAAT! I adjusted the movement a bit (it was gaining 10s a day, not catastrophic but I know the 9015 can do much better) and ever...
I'm hesitating so much....
Can't we have both 20 and 24mm? I have number of divers that are 24mm, a number (arguably a smaller number but I already have a few gen Isofranes in 24mm) that are 20mm. So what gives???
Well, by the tiniest of margins, that'll be 20mm for me... but I'm all in for a...
after a quick regulation, it's now lost 2 seconds... since Tuesday noon. And a light patina (natural) is progressively setting in. I really love that watch!
The baby has arrived late in the night of the 10th, but the watch hasn't showed up today... Should be here tomorrow, though, since tracking shows it to be at the local delivery centre (about 50 miles from my city).
