Bravo, Maria! You hit this one out of the park! The fit, finish, polish, quality and design make a top homage to the Seamaster 300. The value of this piece is unparalleled, especially with the high beat Miyota 9015 engine. I dare say, we may not see such a movement at this pricepoint too many times in the future, which certainly concerns me. However, there is no question about the special nature of this beautiful piece and I thank you for taking the best suggestions and those top plans of your own to turn out the best product that could be made.

I haven't seen many blue dial Estorils posted, so I thought I'd post a few photos of my blue dial big triangle with date, that I received a couple days ago. This is a very dark, subtle blue; the term "Dusty Blue" came to mind the first time I saw it.

Liking mesh bracelets on this piece more and more.

I know I have said this already, but seeing this watch on different straps and bracelets from other owners just reinforces how great a piece it truly is.

Just put mine on a grey 3 ring zulu and I ordered a 20mm rubber isoframe style band (just because Andre's looks so good!).

So I've had my fair share of dive watches, expensive and inexpensive, and I'll come right out and say that the Estoril has without a doubt the BEST bezel action of any dive watch I've ever owned, or even used.

Not really a bracelet person, but the mesh looks pretty good on the Estoril, as it pretty much does on the SM300 !

Much prefer the open end mesh, though ...... and the normal round links to the flattened links. The flattened links somehow look a bit stiff and angular, whereas the rounded links are more suited to the round, curvy look of the case.

Yes indeed. I remember when the prototypes came in Maria said they had 2 issues to sort out for the actual production ready pieces, one of them was the bezel action. I must admit I was a little apprehensive that it would work out OK in the end as I waited for July to come (which happened to be June in the end). No need to have worried - the bezel action is lovely. (Actually the whole thing is lovely)

Hi Lexvil - in the third photo you posted titled "Not great conditions" it looks like you used some sort of strap to rig an extension to fit over your drysuit - at least there's what looks like a nylon strap tail hanging down in the photo. Is that what you did? Thanks.

Those "not great conditions" look like good conditions in the Irish Sea! LOL
