i just learned that its being denied by Seiko that the movement is the same.

Of course Seiko denies it as it is part of their deal. Look at the similarities. Didn't Tag Heuer also buy design from Seiko for their chronograph (Caliber 1887)?

Watch world is full of half truths.

Nevertheless the Steinhart looks great! If you come to Cabo Verde and visit Mindelo you have to show me that Steinhart!

It's Unitas 6498 minus the small seconds hand.
