after checking out wrist shots of the Crepas L'Ocean,
it seems likely that this watch will look ponderous on my wrist...
i prefer a more wrist hugging design, so i will probably pass.

Text in dial is not final.

One thing is to discuss project in forum other is to get all things in sync with factory.

We are only making the final changes in dial once all other details are finalised.Otherwise factory would not make any renders with constant changes and requests made.

It is necessary to distinguish the whole scope of project from the fine details.

I think this will be excellent watch, I am so glad I did not buy Crepas Locean! This one is cheaper and much nicer for me! It will look even much better in real because crystal is extraordinary on this model and dial will be not flat like on renders.
I wish to get it without the bracelet, but I know there will be not such option.

Can not wait!

Just hope USD/EUR will be better, waiting with Sea Dragon preorders for that too....

Change would be more than dial as the ceramic insert would have to be white. Factory told us that to get a new color in ceramic their MOQ is 300 inserts as otherwise factory won't make a new mix.

I think this would be a show stopper.
Are you stating that the ceramic insert is the bezel? If so, forget about the ceramic white bezel insert. Black insert bezel would be fine. I am just referring to the white dial.

Yes, I was referring to ceramic insert on bezel. A black ceramic bezel with white dial would be possible with a slight increase of cost but a white dial / white insert would be economically unsound.

The 3D renders of the Scorpion Fish looks realy nice, especially Version A. In my opinion a very cool vintage touch with modern specs. I think this would be my next summer diver!

After seeing the 3D renderings, I changed my vote from B to A. But if there were an alternative dial color, I'd much rather see blue than white.

WOW. This is coming along really nicely. And seeing the 3d renders I'm liking the non plonguer handset more and more.

Not to discuss other brands on the Borealis forum, but I have to comment.

I've seen pictures of Maranez's ver utilizing the same watch case and the Borealis ver blows theirs away by a huge margin. Borealis is taking the time and effort to make the design your own and going the extra mile by adjusting the hard corner on the case at the 3 o'clock for the crown position.

Borealis' passion and attention to detail is readily apparent.

I have to admit, I was on the fence about this one. Not because I didn't like the design, but wasn't sure and still not sure if I can raise enough funds in time for preorder. But I'm going to do my damdest to get enough funds together now, after seeing those updated renders and the cleaner dial with less text has really got me excited.

KUDOS to the Borealis TEAM!!

yeah, i personally think the Maranez looks like crap...
the crown position, the acrylic crystal, the hands and dial are just wrong...
the ONLY thing they got right and that i truly wish had been incorporated into this design is the 6 o'clock date window. That just always looks better and more symmetric, never understood why more watches aren't like that

Question. I've been busy with work and holidays the last couple of weeks so I had lost track on what was going on with the Scorp Fish. But I noticed it now says, "Lumed Ceramic Bezel", but the earlier posts had stated just a lumed Triangle pip.

Will the final Scorp Fish have a fully lumed ceramic insert?

BTW...was having some fun and posted a poll "Scorp Fish VS Kata" on Watchfreeks. No surprise, Sorp Fish is winning.
