No worries of debris in movement? I am asking as have heard from factories that it is always problematic to remove hands pinion from movement unless disassembling movement and working on gears.

A full Oriental week for me, switching between my 3 models and thus maintaining power on all 3. Today's morning choice :

Nice looking Orient watch! Did you purchase it online in Europe? Never managed to find a good EU dealer on those.
Thanks, the more I wear it the more I like it.

I found it last summer in a specialized shop in Yogyakarta (Central Java, Indonesia), name of shop is Gunung Mas (literally Golden Mountain), a real paradise for Japanese watches, hundreds of them and a few other intl. brands. Currency change was favorable and it came to be a good deal, bought 2 pieces at the same time.

Regarding EU online shop, I am sure you know about Orientuhren from Germany (www.orientuhren.de), that's where I bought my first Orient, the very classical Mako with pepsi bezel.

First time taking the Sea Hawk off of the bracelet, I think it looks pretty good on the Nato.

What is this UFO... Nice ! Can you share more ?
It started as a gutted 10s(ize) pocket watch that I bought and converted to a wrist watch…
Pics from the original movement before I removed the third (seconds) hand… Then I added a sunburst dial and a set of thicker hands I had lying around. Lastly, I inserted it into a 45mm case.
