Wow! i really like the black dial on the second version.
Just some quick questions:
Will there be a NO DATE version for both releases?
How high is the watch thickness with the double domed sapphire glass? [18mm - 19mm]?!
I would love to see a profile picture of the watch.

Thx and keep up the good work.

Design of project is final, no changes are to be made at this stage I am afraid (so this means no date is not an option).

Height of watch is 14.50mm. Specifications are fairly similar to the Crepas L'Ocean 1200m (also discussed a few pages back the storyline).

-Diameter of bezel: 41,50mm
-Diameter of case: 42,50mm
-Thickness: 14,50mm
-Length: 49,00mm
-Thickness of glass: 3,80mm
-Diameter of crystal: 32,00mm
-Space between lugs: 24mm
-Thickness of bezel: 3,15mm
-Thickness of back cover: 2,30mm

I do not have watches yet with me so I am afraid have no extra photos to display. Once I do have watch will post photos and pre-order will start! Offer will be VERY competitive for the type of watch we are talking about.

Sorry for that, i've read the specifications on the first page but it seems i kinda missed the thickness :)
Thx for the reply!

The bracelet seems to be great, sadly the photos don't really focus on it...
Can't wait to have more pics! (even if I'm 99.99% sure to order that watch and 99% sure of which model!

love the black version. Needs to be worn on rubber though :)
There are many after market options for that.

I know you all would like to have a watch with specs of a $1000.00 USD costing $100.00 USD but that math is simply not possible.

The watch with specs offered will be one of the best deals of 2015.

Wow! They came out great. Are the hour and minute handset on the white dial shorter than the ones on the black dial?
Hah...that was the same EXACT word that popped in my head too...WOW just WOW Maria. The white dial came out FANTASTIC.

Borealis is on a roll. First the Sea Dragon now the Scorpionfish. WTG Maria.

Thank you for the update, have been anxiously awaiting the pics and prototype. My concern is that the white dial and hands have little contrast so would be difficult to read, may have to switch to black dial version, as it looks great with modern hands. Hoping the pre-order price will still be under $400, as you initially indicated.

You are obviously right Maria, and generally I think that this watch will wear great on a large variety of straps and bands, from rubber to nate via leather, but those are easy to pick on the market whereas a great bracelet like the one included is not simple to find.
Myself I easily picture the watch on a striped nato with black and orange...

Based on the factory pics, the bracelet seems to taper from 24mm at the lugs. It's hard to make out how big of a taper though the bracelet has in those pics. Seems like the perspective is skued a bit in those pictures from the factory.

What is the width of the bracelet at the clasp? Just curious :)

Thanks Maria.

I believe that it was previously stated to be 20mm at the clasp.
A bit too much taper IMHO, I would have preferred 22mm, but easily remedied by an after market strap replacement.

Thanks itsonlytime. I either missed that info or forgot it...bad memory and all. :)

Agreed. 22mm taper would've been better. For me, not that big of a deal. I'm more of a strap guy anyway. I'm gonna put it on rubber, leather and/or kevlar myself.

The clasp is similar to the one of the Sea Hawk. A 22mm clasp is overwhelming on wrist and a 20mm sits more comfortable. Many brands choose bracelets with taper as it balances watch better on wrist.

The prototype factory Pics show a white date wheel with black numbers on the black dial version.
Just to confirm, I thought the black dial version would be produced with a black date wheel having white numbers, as per the original spec drawings.
Appreciate your confirmation on the date wheel color, thank you.

I think you misunderstand me, I am fine with the offering, I just don't care much about the bracelet and think it will look outstanding on a rubber strap :)
