Great decision to offer no date option, thank you.
Please advise the color of leather straps for each dial color, looks like black leather for (black,blue), and brown leather for (brown, green dials) ?
Also what is the bronze buckle width, or strap taper?
Thank you Maria.

presenting the Borealis CuSn8 bronze buckle for the Borealis Batial. Width of 22mm, tongue size 4mm.

Be aware tube that connects tongue to buckle is made of 316L stainless steel not bronze as in render.

That is a trade-off as with all things.
Oh I understand.

It just limits some of the flexibility of the watch re aftermarket straps, especially if you want a waterproof caoutchouc one - you either
  1. Use the factory strap only, or;
  2. Get an expensive custom strap made, or;
  3. Use a 22mm->20mm tapered strap (like 99% of 22mm straps) and just put up with the buckle being slightly oversized, or;
  4. Don't use the buckle - which would be a shame as it looks amazing.
Don't get me wrong, I am in love with the watch - I just hope I love the strap just as much because there will be limited aftermarket options :)

A non-tapered strap with that beautiful 22mm buckle is the way to go, as this watch needs the full 22mm for the overall look and stability. As far as aftermarket, there are many (non-custom)vendors that offer 22 to 22mm non- tapering leather, rubber, NATO style straps, PANATIME is an excellent example.
Maria, will the included leather strap be vintage or distressed in nature, and how thick? Thank you.

Don't keep moaning about every little detail. Have you seen the forecast of cost for this watch, amazing value.

pity there's no domed sapphire - I guess that would made it a complete project for me...
nonetheless, that is a great design, I like especially the thick lume.
Any chance on having black or colored date wheel? The white one doesn't match any dial colors, actually.

No, no chance for that. It is either date with white disc or no date at all.

The buckle is phenomenal. Time to start planning on getting a strap made for this badboy. I'm sure the leather strap you are planning to include will be great but I love bronze watches on either rubber or canvas straps. I just can't stand the feel of leather sticking to your skin if it gets wet....and this watch is screaming to see some saltwater.

When it will be ready for ordering?
We are actually ready to start pre-order of the Batial and the Seafarer II but would like to start all 3 pre-orders at same time as will give bigger exposure in terms of social media.

We are just waiting for technical drawings of the Estoril to be finalised and approved.
