Still early days so designs are work in progress.

Nevertheless would like to share with you a project we have been working on the Borealis Medusa.

A 300m lugless automatic diver watch with a interchangeable bezel system and a diameter of 45mm size.

We are expecting it to be powered by a Miyota 9015.

Pre-order won´t start before the Estoril project is ready.

Looks really interesting.

Like the round case design and the simple dial-

I think the hour hand needs an update. Looks similar to the hour hand of the Citizen JV0020.

Comes the dial with the rough surface like on the pic ?

More dial options are planned to be offered but we want to offer as well a dial with a sandy texture as depicted in render.

Looks awesome, one of my favorite watches is the Halios Puck! Please tell me you will do a white or blue dial and I'm all in!

At time of pre-order not sure if more than one bezel will be supplied as otherwise prices will increase.

Be however prepared for a very big surprise on the bezel system. More to be divulged later on.

45mm is a small size with this type of design.

Bear in mind the lug to lug is the crucial factor and as it is rounded shape the watch fits most wrists even the small ones.

The new zillas are for instance 48mm size so the Medusa wears more comfortable.

Yes, you are right ....
The short L2L and round shape may cause the watch to appear smaller.
Interested in the big surprise on the bezel system !!! :)

The Crown located at the 4 o'clock position would be my suggestion on this look.
Not going to happen at least with keeping date at 3 o'clock.

Date would have to move to 4 o'clock too as with the Sea Dragon

To keep date at 3 o'clock we would have to reprint date wheels and a venture we are not going to partake this route at price point we are aiming at.

So would a date at 4 be acceptable?

Hi !
Another nice project !

Here is my opinion/suggestion:
- 45mm should be great (Halios Puck is 47mm) considering the absence of lugs;
- I'm worried about the thickness : too thick could be hard to wear it comfortably - more in the 13-15mm should be better than 16mm and up; I have the Ecozilla and it is too thick in many occasions;
- I don't like the hour hand - too large in my taste; could I suggest something thinner;
- the minutes indices (not the hour indices) are too present; they overload the visual impact of the dial; should I suggest something more discreet;
- also, could you pay attention to the distance between the case and the bars; it's a bit just with my Batial and it's hard to pass Zulu straps and some thicker NATO;
- finally, and I understand we will have options, I really don't like the yellow tone (very personal taste, I know); if you really want color tone in the dial (other than white), may I suggest something more common for a diver, orange.

I already have a Borealis, and 4 preorder. That's the first time I participate in a project. I tried to be polite, respectful and constructive (at least, that was my intention); you probably notice that my English is far from perfect, so be indulgent!!

I gotta have this.

Guys, a 44mm lugless watch will wear a lot smaller.

I have a lugless 52mm Tuna and it really wears like 46-47mm but as comfortable as a 42-43mm watch. Almost like it's not there, super comfortable.

I'm in a few groups where lots of members with 6-7in wrists wear the 48mm because they're super comfy and wear like a 43-44mn basically.

The Medusa will not be too big for anyone, IMO.

Other thing to take into account is that if crown moves at 4 o'clock there may be not enough clearing space for the lugs underneath case.
