I think we are talking on different things. The outside part of crown is fully made of bronze. Then inside you have a part that connects to stem that is made of steel.

Reason is to avoid contact with skin nothing else.

can not comment on other brands but the Batial crown is made of a full cnc cut bronze piece.

The case construction does not require a soft iron core. That is more a gimmick than something else as for it to work you would need to have also a soft iron protection surrounding dial, otherwise magnetism can also affect movement through dial opening ... High brands try to find ways to...

Thank you for your review and remarks! Also be aware our strap is made of vulcanized rubber unlike some of the competition that uses nitrile rubber. We decided also not to use vanilla as I believe that a strap should not be scented. As a woman I do not like that extra fragrance on a mans wrist...
