After many requests received we have decided to unveil the Borealis Batial - Deep Diver 3000m CuSn8 Bronze Watch.

The Borealis Batial CuSn8 bronze watch will feature a water resistance of 3000m and yet a quite slim profile with a total height of 13.50mm.

To ensure this water resistance we will use three viton gaskets in case back and a special construction that allows watch to have a very slim profile.

Crown will be also made of bronze CuSn8 and case back will be of 316L stainless steel. To compliment watch it will be offered with a leather strap + a bronze buckle.

Movement used is the venerable Miyota 9015.

There will be a total of 4 colors (black, blue, green and brown)

Be aware design is not going to be changed and will be made as is.

We have been working for some time producing dials (that require a special technique to produce lume in very thick layers) on project and any change made would require a new dial mould which would take considerable amount of time and resources to make so that is not an option.

I sure wasn't expecting this when I first saw the dials. not sure what to think of the case looks like a mix of a dressy Pam. But the dial markers looks kinda aggressive

The best is to get both :)!

Delivery of the Batial will come out first and with pre-order deposits will be easier to accommodate payment as it is done in two different instalments.

Actually, another question. Maria, have you thought to make the caseback a bit domed? The watch then will not touch the wrist, which I think is more confortable. Please see the pic attached.

The design of the watch is closed as mentioned in first post but thank you for sharing your thoughts.

It should wear comfortable as is due to its slim profile.

Arrgghhh...
I'm torn. I can't easily justify getting all three models Batial, Estoril and Seafarer II in very short succession. Still, I can't really see myself missing on any of these. And again I feel attracted by the blue dial. So I might well end up with a blue Batial, a blue Estoril and a blue and orange Seafarer II.

Any idea on the schedule in which the delivery would take place Maria ? Will they be spread over a few months or do you reckon they'll take place in a close succession ?

The delivery of the Batial should be the first one around 1st quarter of 2016. The Estoril and the Seafarer II will take longer to delivery likely around June 2016.
Oh... OK.
Then I might well end up with all three... I was picturing things to all happen end of 2015/beginning of 2016, but if we're speaking June 2016 for the Estoril and Seafarer, I'm almost certainly in for a blue Batial ;)

The Batial Deep River is indeed a beauty. The deep blue wave pattern is very mesmerising with the "bronze" hour and minute hands and red seconds hand, this dial is a knock-out. The 3000m WR rating is a big plus.

The slim profile of only 13.5mm in thickness is fantastic, but the L2L at 51.5mm is a little too big for my skinny wrist. As such, I will pass on this beauty reluctantly! :(

I have Several Bronze and Brass watches. I love them but big issue is the green color of patina on my skin if case back Dont push the watch away from my wrist espescially in Summer when sweating it s horrible and not that healthy. Hopefully that was considered when watch is already finished in Design. If there is too much Room between ss caseback and bronze corners im out. Perhaps there will be Pictures of caseback WhiLe preorder for making my decsision.

If you look at the technical pics, you'll see that
1°) the case back is rather "deep"
2°) there's only a tiny surface of the back that's bronze.

Should be all OK, unless you've got a very fleshy wrist and wear the watch super tight.

Another winner Maria, beautiful design, as long as the pre-order pricing is affordable, I will add it to my list of Borealis orders.

This is really gonna be a winner. As for the turning skin green issue......I have the Gruppo Gamma Bronze Vanguard and I dont get the green on my wrist with the exception of one area, wear the buckle rubs against my skin and sometimes where the crown bumps in to the back of my hand. But I get nothing from the case (it has stainless steel back as well). Also, the crown being @ 4 on this model will help reduce contact of the crown with the back of your hand which also helps. To help minimize any other possible contact (buckle contact) you can just wear it on a thick strap (4-6mm).

Now the problem is choosing the color. I love all 4 but I'm probably out on the green (a bit too light but still gorgeous). The brown is phenomenal but I just dont really wear brown dial watches. The blue is killer but I'm getting tons of blue dial watches recently, and the black is also amazing but I've got tons of black dial watches. Thanks Maria for the added stress!!!!!! (totally worth it though....I know this is gonna be badass diver)
