can not comment on other brands but the Batial crown is made of a full cnc cut bronze piece.
HoHo, isn't that dangerous?
As I understand it, the reason for a crown and case back in steel or titanium is that bronze on bronze can fuse, like it was soldered, with corrosion / patina...
Sure the crown being usually manipulated "often" it's less risky than in the case back, but it's a risk...

Reason is to avoid contact with skin nothing else.

I think we are talking on different things. The outside part of crown is fully made of bronze. Then inside you have a part that connects to stem that is made of steel.

I just spoke with engineer and I was providing you wrong information. In fact the crown has a steel part inside.

it is the part I have quickly signalled in image above. However it is not glued to the bronze. It is instead welded at a very high temperature so that both metals act like one and no risk of one part to separate from the other due to the welding nature.

So my apologies for providing the wrong information.

Makes more sense, thanks for the info!
And sure, it's better for most people not to have bronze directly in contact of the skin as it'll leave green marks when reacting with perspiration.

By chance any pics of the blue prototype dial? There appears to be 4 black dials ,2 brown and 2 green in the pic. That and a lume shot would be awesome. Thanks Maria - the dials look amazing!

Yeah that's crazy good looking to be sure.
And yeah, I'd very lick like to see a blue dial, as that's what I ordered!
