12.5 is quite good!
I'd love a 11.5mm but on a 300m automatic watch I think it's quite hard...
Waiting for final details!

The Omega 165.024 itself had a height of 13mm height so you can see not possible to make it slimmer than what we offer and keeping 300m water resistance.

12.5 works, the SMP is less than 12 and is 300 m but the 2892 movement may be thinner than the the 9015, this will be very wearable and suitable for diving! I'm 100% onboard now, B1

Oranges vs apples here. The watch we are paying tribute to is the Omega 165.024 not the Omega 2254.50.

Reason for the 12.50mm is due to the domed sapphire used on the Estoril. If instead of a domed crystal we used a flat crystal as in the SMP height would be of 12mm.

So long as we are talking oranges, 2254 has a domed crystal slight one but domed, the SM300 plexi crystal was domed to give it strength without deflection. I wasn't complaining but just pointing out to a previous poster that watches don't need overly thick cases to function at depth, I have long been a detractor of the insane depth ratings and over thick watches that came from it.

The Estoril 300 looks like it will be a great dive watch and look great on the beach as well.

Thanks and yes, we are both on the same page here. We also do not like to create thick watches for the sake of being thick. For instance the Borealis Batial has a thickness of 13.50mm and a water resistance of 3000m (10x more than the Estoril).

Thanx for the good work till now Maria. Maybe i did miss it, but the case will be brushed with polished parts?
And will the typical 20mm Oyster bracelet fit to the Estoril?

Finish of case is brushed with polished parts. There is no guarantee and is not whatsoever stated or implied that end links of an Omega fit case of the Estoril 300 as this is not a 1:1 project but a homage paying tribute to a long time discontinued watch with today's technologies.

Was 13mm at top of acrylic domed glass?

My dream (but it's fully OT...even if I hope you'll pick up this idea...) is to have a diver around 10mm thickness and 39-40mm diameter...with an inner rotating bezel... maybe handwound :)

Yes, 13mm thickness with the domed acrylic.

As for your dream consider it almost impossible unless dial opening would be quite narrow below 28mm and no date ...

It is not a bad idea...but handwinding movement for a diver. Unscrew crown every day to wind the movement is a bit unconfortable...and the risk of wearing the crown because of such an intensive use. Apart from that not a bad Idea...and another one (OT), keep some spare Estoril cases to make and Aquaterra's homage...;)

Any hint on the pre-order pricing? Will this be in the same price range as the Seafarer II and Batial (between $400 and $500)?
