  • 2 dial versions (big triangle and dial like mine with 12). Both with date and no date versions
If at the end I can choose between versions with "triangle" and with "12" ... I'm going to have a problem: I like 2!

About the date, I took illusions with the date at 6, and 3 do not like. Therefore it is sure to ask no date.

Very nice, i like both date and non date versions of this with the large marker [ at 12 position ] its a classic

It featured sword hands and both date / non date versions.

I think the black date wheel is key to the watche's charm, I hope you move forward with that option.
Personally I want one of these versions that more closely reflects the original design.

We still do not know yet what the thickness is but will be the minimum possible without compromising water resistance. We will only work on technical designs after the dial, bezel hands are finalized.

Hopefully this can start next week as it is now almost agreed:

  • text on dial Estoril 300m to be changed to Estoril 300
  • removing the underscore in dial for numbers
  • the 3 on the 30 of bezel to be a round 3
  • 2 dial versions (big triangle and dial like mine with 12). Both with date and no date versions
That sounds about perfect... Except the "underscore" for the numbers in the bezel. It looks a bit odd the way it is, but only because there is the marking point at say 30 but not the 29 nor the 31. Include small "dots" (well squared dots) in line so that there's a white index at every minute, and that would be more balanced AND very nice for diving...

What are the thoughts of rest of audience on this change ?

It looks a little cramped -- but functionally, it works well for timing more precisely around the 10-min markers.

Thanks for doing your best, Maria! We're not easy to work with, but you are doing amazing for all the feedback.

Well, I signed up here just for this watch. Will be my first Borealis.

My preference is the 12 with date, or the Triangle no date. To me, having the Triangle with date is very unbalanced, as the 6 and 9 are just out of place on an otherwise numberless dial. Also don't care for the DLC.

I'm all for fewer choices and lower cost. Too many cooks spoil the pot.

I'll be ordering one, regardless of what is decided.

You will not regret your purchase in any way. I have 2 and that number will likely get larger.

The Scorpionfish was a one time deal we had with factory as explained during pre-order process. Our margins on each Scorpionfish were almost nil and was also a way for factory to be able to put on use parts they had.

The Estoril 300m will be a top watch made of 100% custom made parts but as with all Borealis watches will be offered at a very reasonable price specially during pre-order.

We haven't yet calculated production costs as we are working out details so can't tell yet what the price will be.

Whatever the price that is decided on will be reasonable as in the past I'm sure, have many DLC watches so that is a non issue to me and a good option beside the SS.
