The blue would have been great... But I'm not really sure I wouldn't still have gone for the ultimate super-classic big triangle, no date, all black... So...
And sure enough 90% of the people who would have bought a blue one will still by a black one. So given it might increase the costs, it's making perfect business sense to stick to black.

Blue would be nice, but a black homage as discussed will certainly offer enough options, and hopefully keep the price down, and at a level that all can enjoy.
I'am Ready and excited for the Pre-order details, hopefully we are only a few days away...

I totally agree that with the 4 black options, there's plenty of choice to suit most everybody while keeping the cost down. Even with just 4 options, I'm really having a tough time deciding. Can't wait for pricing and target delivery date from Maria.

I suggest take a vote and get rid of the least desired black version (triangle or no triangle) and replace it with blue versions of the winner

The blue versions are neat, but I wouldn't be in favor of deleting any of the black versions to make way for the blue. Definitely not the small 12 plus date (my preferred configuration).

Let's move forward with the 4 black configurations only. As I have stated in at least one of my previous messages, I do favor the black dial, no-date with the "12" numeral index instead of the large inverted triangle which I find too dominating.

The blue dial models should only be made available in the second batch if there is sufficient demand for them.

IMHO, we now have a pretty good picture of what forum members like. As such, it is now time to move forward with the release of the preliminary renderings of all four configurations from the factory a soon as they become available.

I am so ready to pull the trigger on the pre-order!

With $500 suggested for 4 black versions i can certainly live with that decision due to cost increase for blue.Looking forward to a great watch!!!!

For the $500, depends if it's post or pre-VAT. It makes a 20% increase for us EU customers...

We haven't made any suggestion of price being of $500.00 USD.

Price will be below that level but can't yet be divulged yet as we are working details with factory. Will be fairly competitive as always specially taking into account its specs.

I think a very large amount, but I think it is best to stop making baseless comments and hopefully the news of Maria.

OK. I see Maria denied what was said.
I hope that the final price is in line with the Scorpionfish ... But that will tell Maria at the time.

The scorpionfish was a one time deal with factory that had cases already made ... completely different situation of the Estoril 300 where we will have to develop everything from the ground up.

For the record the scorpionfish was sold almost at our cost price as all buyers can attest by looking at quality of watch and price they paid.

Some scorpionfish watches are available for the ones interested.

Now back in topic as this thread is only about the Estoril 300.

Maria, just a Thought.....
Since both new models (Estoril, and Seafarer II) appear that they will be finalized and offered for pre- order soon, and quite close together, may I make a suggestion;
If a customer pre-orders and pays the deposits due for both new models together, can an additional "combo" pre-order discount be offered, or possibly free FEDEX shipping?
This is a selfish request, as I'am hoping to order both new, exciting, and very different style models, and total cost is always a buying consideration.
