I've got some fine sand caught on the inside of the bezel. Is there a trick to removing the bezel? I don't want to accidentally crack the sapphire insert...

You can use a bezel removal tool or you can slide in your nail while turning bezel.

Oh, i didnt realise they just popped off with vertical pressure.

Vertical pressure while turning as well for extra safety. This is a feature to enable easier cleaning of bezels after exposing it to debris.
