WITH A DATE AT 6 O'CLOCK MIYOTA ONLY PRODUCES MOVEMENT WITH WHITE DISC, BLACK FONT AND DELIVERY TIMES ARE LONGER TOO.

There was a suggestion from forum members for the Borealis Estoril 300 to feature a date at 6 o'clock instead of 3 o'clock making dial more balanced.

I prefer my divers with no date, but if i have to chose, the date at 6 looks sick and balances the dial more.

My personal preference is for no date and keep cost/price down.
If need to choose date at 6 looks the best without the triangle.

There is going to be a date and no date versions. Decision is only if date at 3 or 6.

6 o'clock i prefer, better symmetry for the dial.
Bottom right is my preference.

If i had to go for a date version, i would keep it closer to original date wheel position.
Saying that, i would't kick the 6 o'clock out of bed either.

Some info that I need to add. I have just checked with factory and Miyota and Miyota does not supply date at 6 with black wheel, only white wheel and black font.

So take this into account. If we go with date at 6 I will have to check also with factory lead times as Miyota only makes it by order!

Printing date wheels is not an option.

Date at 6 Looks horrible. If it goes 6 oclock I go without Date. Nevertheless it increases costs and goes away from original. Comeon People.

Right, well if a black date wheel for the 6 o'clock is not available i'd say scrap the 6 o'clock date idea altogether as i seriously doubt anyone would want a white date wheel.
Stick with the 3 o'clock date but please remove the surround.

Pretty sure the no date version is going to be the more popular.

I'd be ordering the no date version for myself but since the date at 6 costs more, takes longer and has a white disk with black numerals I voted for the date at 3

Well, if the date at 6 is going to have a white background with black numbers, I would say forget it !
For those wanting/needing a date, just stick to the original date model, with date at 3 ..... I believe most will opt for the no date model, anyway .....
So now the question is, big triangle, or 12 ?

Also, most people buying the SM 300 homage will probably want it in SS, so although it looks pretty good, I would just drop the PVD version. With the PVD, you would need to think about a PVD mesh option, too .... ???

Yes, we are likely to drop the DLC option as would also require a DLC mesh.
