Twenty-four days on, 24/7, and it's still on my wrist ..... looking and running great !
I have more than 40 other watches, but this one is hard to take off !
Maria, is it possible to maybe share with us, how many of each of the four variants were produced ?

Here is a shot of my SF on my new Zulu from Strap Code for your viewing pleasure.

I am quite happy with the strap as it is comfortable and I can adjust it to fit my wrist profile. the leather strap just does not cut it for doing chores around the house!

It was quite dark when I took the picture. I placed the watch on the window sill and took the shot with no flash...

Where do you guys get the BC straps in the US preferably? I see that their Orange 24mm Straps are quite a bit more expensive than black ones at least $15+ and not many sellers have them

I got my orange BC 321 from watchgecko.com (in the U.K.). It's a little more expensive than buying from a distributor in the U.S., like Holbein's, but still fairly reasonable and Watch Gecko has the largest variety of models and colors of BC straps.

I got mine there as well. Received the bands to NJ from UK in about 5 days.

So after having it on leather since I got it I still wasn't 100% happy with the fit. I decided to try my mesh again, for some reason the center hoop on one end of my mesh was sticking out a bit vs others, so the end wasn't perfectly straight. I tried to push it back in but I don't think I made much of a difference, then I realized I could just swap the ends of the mesh where the inner end near the clasp was pretty much perfectly straight so I did. I was able to make the mesh fit BUT it does come in contact with the HRV when the mesh isn't curved downwards,I.E. when you place the watch flat on the table. Hopefully it won't scratch. Another point to note is that one lug screw was loose when I took off the leather so I'm still very unhappy with this design. I've only wore the watch 2 times on leather and I made sure it was tight when I put the leather on. So the 4 screw design is still awfully flimsy to me, I'm also worried that the strap will bend the screws if some how the watch got tugged. Anyone find replacement 1 piece screws to replace them? I know tubes won't fit inside the mesh for sure. Maybe the spring bars for pam?

To those looking for a good fix with their hex screw issues ie: 2 small screws not locking together, worried about the integrity of screws and straps etc. I was in need of 2 longer hex screws as my SF came with 4 shorter hex screws which really comprised any strap options until I thought of the obvious, get 2 24mm spring bars pull out the ends and springs and BINGO your SF hex screws fit perfectly inside the spring bars creating a super solid, mega tight fit. Easy fix, great result.

The other option as some have mentioned earlier is some Panerai tubes.

I bought 2 pairs from John at Dangerous9Straps on EBay, cost me about $7 USD landed in NZ. They fit the watch like an absolute glove, they're even darker finish than standard steel so they don't shine through mesh.

Interestingly, while fitting those tubes to take a photo I noticed in the light a number of manufacturing scrapes around the top helium valve that I'd not noticed yet - probably because the watch came straight off the factory bracelet and onto a Bonetto Cinturini, so I've never looked in between the lugs in detail. Quite noticeable in the right light.





Oh well, they're invisible when a strap is attached and they don't dent my enjoyment of the piece one bit. Still utterly amazing value for money :)
