IMG_7389.JPG IMG_7387.JPG I received my watch yesterday (it actually arrived before, I just moved back to Europe and had it sent to my parent's address). I very much like the execution. Very well machined, good bezel action(not as good as my Tuna, but very good still), awesome ceramic inlay and good lume overall.

I also like the leather strap, even though I wish it had one more hole for the people with thinner wrists. The rubber strap is decent, I like it better than some because it wears thinner.

For the fun of it I threw it on the bracelet of the Armida A7 (never liked it on the Armida) and I think it looks great - very toolish.

I do like this protective shroud with recessed hex screws. Better then the Seiko Tuna can offering, imho. Its looks a much neater design. Still enjoying the Sea Dragon, lume looks great against the orange face too, keeping time to +7 with crown up at night.dsc_0909.jpg

I arrived at the place were my white sea dragon was waiting for me this Monday... I very much love it and I'm happier every day that I went the white dial route: it's really a gorgeous silvery white that takes different shades depending on light.
Works great on nato

And works maybe even better on the blue "ObrisFrane"

The original black rubber is nice too, but.... too black for the summer. The leather, well, I'll have the watch on it soon enough, it looks great and will certainly be very comfy, given how supple it is.

Arrived last evening. Took it for a ride to work today.

Very happy with the purchase. Well executed and good quality. No complains what so ever. Great job Maria....thanks.

Finally found the matching nato (not really a nato but better...) and awaiting, meanwhile, still on comfortable leather original strap, nice feelings :

Sorry for the delay in payment. I had not checked that email in a few weeks. I made my payment today! Love the white, very happy with my choice.

View attachment 439 Noticed my watch shroud was noisy this morning and found a screw had come out and is now lost! Only worn twice.
Not happy any one else had problems?
Please contact us for assistance.
I guess it is impossible to please everyone.

We didn't apply any loctite to screws in order to make easy for collectors to remove shroud. However it is advisable for owners to look at shroud from time to time and apply loctite to screws.

So here is my short review of it, I just got the watch this morning so it's only been on my wrist for about 4 hours.

First of all fit and finish is great, so far I haven't been able to notice any flaws on the finish, dust, dial misalignment.
Bezel clicks nicely and I have to say it fits very nice, I was expecting it to be bigger due to the shroud, but its a perfect fit for my 7" or so wrist. I have to say that this is one of the most comfortable watches I've had on the rubber strap, I don't even think I'll put on the leather. and the black rubber is a HUGE improvement than the previous Borealis orange ISO style strap. This material is much softer, more flexible and doesn't stick to it self as much. It is a bit more plasticy feeling (hard to describe, it has a sand like texture, kinda like running your finger down a painted wall, tiny bumps) vs rubbery grippy but it is very soft and it has almost infinite adjustment holes. PLEASE make these in more colours I will buy them!! they are way better than Obris ones cuz it actually fits my wrist, and the material is less grippy.

Now the not so good, honestly there's not much to say about the packaging, as I'm not buying the packaging. My only 2 complaints are #1 I know it is BGW9 but I guess lume can be improved a bit, its there but nothing torch like Seiko. Also the lume colour is a bit mismatched on the dial vs bezel, dial is more blue, bezel is more light green. Its still day time so I dunno about lume longevity yet.

#2 this is the biggest complaint, I was tightening the shroud hex as people have warned and I was able to tighten the 2 O'clock screw almost half a turn. and the other 2, quarter turns, BUT by doing so the bezel became very hard to turn, I had to force it to get the bezel to turn. so I had to loosen the 2 O'clock screw about a quarter turn. And by doing so I slightly scratched my shroud, and now all 3 hex bolts has tool marks on them. I'm pretty unhappy that the customer has to do this on a brand new watch.

Thank you for your review.

If you look at the lume area of the Seiko and the Sea Dragon you will find that due to their dial design they can apply more lume. In the end it is like comparing oranges to apples but I see where you're coming from.

It would be impossible to have stronger lume with this design of the Sea Dragon. Nevertheless I find the lume used quite adequate and pretty strong compared to majority of competitors.
