Seiko MM or ML pontos s diver?

MarineMaster. without an doubt. you actually get an GrandSeiko movement in monoblock case, watch is hand assembled in the same factory that makes GS line, even the lume is hand applied. watch is not big at all (it is actually around 43 mm) and it sits great on your wrist. bracelet has ratcheting clasp, case is a piece of artwork with brushed and polished surfaces...

A friend of mine owns it and he had to peel it off my wrist when i had put it on., I would not let it go. only downside (for me it is not a downside at all ) is a lack of sapphire crystal. but that is a legacy of Seiko divers watches (Seiko made divers watches when most of the todays "premium" Swiss brands made handwind low end watches with ebauche movements) - when you break it , you can replace it at low cost. Tool watch at its best. Hell, If Rolex did not stop evolution of their Subs in 60-ies (nad they are basically the same watches as they have made them in 60-ies) todays Subs would probably look like that.

Yeah Mike, me too! It's a little bit overpriced...but, we know ... not all watchmakers worries about this thing; not all watchmakers are like BW...

Tbh I like them both. Didn't see any model that looks like the ML, sort of unique dial.
But the seiko MM got the "Diver" feeling, classy sub look

Take the Seiko MM 300! Shure, ML Pontos S Diver is also a beautiful watch, but in my opinion the ML Pontos S never can beat the MM 300!

Man that is a tough decision. Both are really nice. They are such different watches too. Traditional dive watch in the MM300, but then the Pontes has such a refined internal bezel compression case design.

Yes, I'm no help LOL...I like them both. But if the quesiton was, what to get first. I think I would get the MM300 first. Seems more versatile because it does have a more traditional look, then go for the Pontes.

The only thing that prevents me from personally saving and going for an MM300 is I hear it wear's small like the SKX007.
