We have already replied a few posts back that a tropic strap is not possible. To develop a brand new one costs are over $15000 USD. However we may be able to work on a 20mm iso style with premium vulcanic rubber. This will very much depend on a future launch of a 22mm premium vulcanized rubber we are working on.
Understood.

Maria, I dig that this watch will sell without bracelet in order to keep the sell cost at minimum. Very thoughtful and innovative marketing plan IMO. Let your consumers decide which bracelet is right for Estoril 300m at their control. Awesome!
jinikari01,

I concur with your comments on not making the bracelet available to keep the cost down. Owners of the BE-300 could always get bracelets of their choice.

I'm sure I'm in the minority but I actually prefer the NH Seiko series. It winds in both directions (no free rotor spinning) and it keeps costs down. It beats slower but that also equates to less maintenance/issues.

Btw - will the bezel numerals be underscored? I'd prefer them not to be like in the originals.

First renders of bezel were with clean numbers but as mentioned by some members adding an underscore increases readability of bezel and makes it possible to be used for timing events.

Movement wil be a Miyota 9015. Allows us to minimize height of watch and to grant it a slimmer profile. Both NH35 and 9015 are great movements but we find the 9015 superior in terms of accuracy.

Regarding straps and bracelets, I feel like the best strategy would be:
Sell the watch with one nato (it looks great, is in line with the history of the SM300, costs little) and let users get an added rubber or mesh included as an options. In my case, for example, I already have a plethora of rubber straps in the right dimensions, including a tropic-like which would be great with the Estoril, and don't need more of them. Other buyers may not be in that situation so offering the option would still be a plus.

I applaud a micro brand watch company that resists the temptation to make everything bigger. 41.5mm is ample size for that style watch and a no date is also appropriate. I wouldn't mind wearing a watch like that on mesh or a vintage style tropic rubber than a link bracelet. Personally, I'd just as soon see C3 lume on it. I prefer it to BGW9 and I dislike fake vintage lume. I was a little disappointed in the lume of the Scorpionfish.

C3 lume is always stronger compared to BGW9 but for this type of watch the white lume color (in daylight) compliments it better and grants it a more vintage look but this is my personal opinion.

However if majority prefers C3 we can go to C3 or make a BGW9 and C3 versions though prices will increase as factory will have to order both lume bottles from RC Tritec.

I think C3 would be great if we did a lumed bezel, if not, then BGW9 would be best choice for its white in daylight qualities.

Yes, Maria, I know there are 2 types of font for the bezel numbers, as shown, but maybe it's just me, but I definitely prefer the rounded "3". The other one looks aftermarket !!!
So retaining the size of original, 41.5mm, with 20mm lugs, will the L2L be 49mm ? Didn't see that mentioned anywhere .....

Regards,

L2L will be about 49mm yes but still working on final details as having drilled lugs influences a bit on lug to lug size.

Both 3s are from the Omega SM300 not aftermarket but if majority prefers a rounder 3 that can be looked at on final design stages.
