This has been answered more than once. It tapers from 24mm to 20mm. It will look balanced on wrist but I am sure many will complain as a prejudice but once they try it will change mind.

Maria, if the bracelet tapers to 20mm, will it allow for better sizing for under 7" wrist sizes, than the Scorpionfish bracelet did?
This is a major concern, as the Scorpionfish bracelet is useless for my 6.75" wrist. Thank You.

I praise members for posting with passion on what they think of project.

To update on project:

  • we are also improving hour hands
As for the dial it is not possible to have a metal insert at 12, 6, 9. Markers are too small to accomodate a metal insert with this shape | .
That's great!!! And I understand not having such a small piece made for the hour markers.

I also noticed the seconds hand is white on the prototype whereas the render is stainless. Which will the production model have? I personally think the ss hand would look better, what do others think?

I start to question if I should post updates as they happen before having prototype fully ready. The seconds hand to be used are as attached

in steel color.

As for glass it is slightly domed. Photo is not the best and was taken by factory not me.

+1 - I appreciate and look forward to the updates - thanks for taking the time to do that Maria! It's fun to watch the progress and it's not hard to keep in mind that the pics you post are not the final version.

"Having too many cooks will spoil the broth".
Even though it's probably a pain for Maria to respond to all the questions and suggestions, it's so much fun to be so invested in the progress of this watch. There are a lot of cool features about this watch (e.g. turbine bezel) that might not be but for this forum.

Hey Maria. I'm greatly looking forward to seeing the proto of the Seafarer II. You mention that the crystal has a slight dome on it. Will it be comparable to the slight dome on the Prometheus Poseidon? (I'm really hoping so because for some reason that is one of my favorite features of that watch.....). Keep up the phenomenal work on the 3 upcoming models. I have 2 pre-orders in for the other models and I'll be pre-ordering this model this week (blue/orange version).

Read through all 22 pages of this thread. This is a great piece! Just as luck has it, I need a 22 mm rubber strap. I'm definitely jumping in on the pre-order!

Thanks for creating this one, great work!

I think the 15% off deal if you buy something including a strap, ended the end of December 2015,if I recall correctly.

Oh really? I did not see any indication of that, just if purchase was made after Sept 1, 2015.

Can Maria or someone confirm? Thanks!

Yes, sad to say the 15% discount for the pre-orders ended on 31st December.

I believe lots of people took advantage of this great offer !

Is it May/June 2016 yet?! Insert Tom Petty quote here about the waiting being the hardest part.

But seriously, with regard to the "we've already answered that question before," some folks like me are obviously not having much success with the search function through the 22 pages, so why not put the info in the specs if possible? For example, the tapering bracelet ought to be easy to include in the specs on the order page.

But maybe I'm just bored...
