I don't care about the box actually, since it will rest in my watchbox at the end so I agree, is better to cut corners in packaging to provide a better value to the actual time piece. For example the new box for Omega watches alone is on $500 Which is crazy...

Congrats, looks really good, I wear my seafarer with a nato as well, the bracelet seems massive for my wrist. With easy exchangeable bezels for every mood I would also get it. I have a steinhart ocean one gmt i changed the insert once and its difficult and makes the removed one practically...

Seems that Maranez aint making the layan anymore tho Makara seems like a solid option at the end they cut corners on expensive stuff like the wood box that cames with Ancon watches with basically is useless. The only box I do love is the humidifier for cigars that comes with cuervo y sobrinos...

The best quartz movements are the 9F series from Grand Seiko.

It's a trend, actually stainless steel should be more expensive than bronze. Brass is brighter, softer and develops patina more slowly and less beautifully than bronze

I agree, gruppo gamma is a good options besides Armida on the affordable range. Now if we are talking about bronze, I would say Ancon has a solid catalog
