That was a feature, it was something Steinhart wanted to have...
I'm sure that in the case of the Seafarer it'll be more similar to the Poseidon's bezel than anything else... And therefore great looking!
Yes.
And changing a sapphire bezel insert might well be the perfect recipe for disaster : we'll likely break it, then poorly glue in the replacement, then... cry ;)
This is sure looking SUUPPPPERRR HOT!!!
I'm now almost sure to be getting all three of the forthcoming models.
Batial for the winter, warmth from the bronze.
Estoril for the beach and the club this summer
Seafarer II for those tech dives and the looking bad ass...
Great! (except from my wife's...
I'm with you on that. If I could spread the pre-orders, say one per month, then spread the final payments, one in early 2016 and the last two either together or, even better one in May and one in June or one in June and one in July... ;)
If you look at the technical pics, you'll see that
1°) the case back is rather "deep"
2°) there's only a tiny surface of the back that's bronze.
Should be all OK, unless you've got a very fleshy wrist and wear the watch super tight.
Oh... OK.
Then I might well end up with all three... I was picturing things to all happen end of 2015/beginning of 2016, but if we're speaking June 2016 for the Estoril and Seafarer, I'm almost certainly in for a blue Batial ;)
Arrgghhh...
I'm torn. I can't easily justify getting all three models Batial, Estoril and Seafarer II in very short succession. Still, I can't really see myself missing on any of these. And again I feel attracted by the blue dial. So I might well end up with a blue Batial, a blue Estoril and a...
Looks and sounds really great.
Only question, does a triple viton gasket really offer better protection than a single or a double one? Does it work like the first one fails "a little" at XX meters, then the second one fails at more and they each "break the pressure" a little, so that the last...
That's really more than promising... a great great deep diver. If the prices are right for me (and I feel they will be), I very much think that I'll get both the Estoril and Seafarer II to keep company to my Seadragon and Scorpionfish. If timing permits, 2015 will be my "Borealis Year".
The only...
My my my... That's perfect!!!!!
That way I get to pick a "monochrome white/blue watch" (Estoril300) And a "Orange and blue in your face watch" (Seafarer II)... Now, among the blue ones, which model? Probably no date, big triangle... but... aaaaaAAAAARRRRRGHHHHhhhhh
You're not going to be my...
That combined shipping would be nice... Provided we now both models will be released at the same time. Else, that will be quite hard, seeing all the other members posting photos of the first model and waiting, waiting... and finally getting it one monthe after the others (supposing a 1 month...
