To me the X% discount you get is a BONUS.
That means a thing in addition. A plus. An icing on the cake.
Instead of criticizing the fact that we're given something more (under certain conditions), we should, I think, thank Maria for that added value she offers with the discount.
AND keep in...
Makes more sense, thanks for the info!
And sure, it's better for most people not to have bronze directly in contact of the skin as it'll leave green marks when reacting with perspiration.
HoHo, isn't that dangerous?
As I understand it, the reason for a crown and case back in steel or titanium is that bronze on bronze can fuse, like it was soldered, with corrosion / patina...
Sure the crown being usually manipulated "often" it's less risky than in the case back, but it's a risk...
Got mine today...
What can I say, it's easily the most comfortable of all my 'iso-styled' rubber straps, and might even be better, for daily carry, than the genuine Iso.
Great job Maria !!!!
I'm totally with you on that.
I long for a watch with quickset hour hand for travels. One that I don't fear loosing when going abroad, too, so Omega PO, or Rolex GMT are out... The 2893-2, well I have it in the Steinhart Ocean Vintage GMT... and it's not easier for travels than any ordinary...
Hey hey hey...
I also ordered one new rubber strap tonight... I already have quite a few of these "IsoFrane" like straps. I also have a genuine IsoFrane... They're really a nice design and when the rubber is supple and thick enough at the same time, it's one of the most comfortable things ever...
I sometimes have similar "hard starts", but that's not specific to the ScorpionFish. Not even to 9015s. My MM300 for example needs quite some hand winding, then hacking, then repushing the crown... Well, most times!
And finally the November pay-check arrived.
So I've ordered the SeaFarer II in blue and orange... (along with the Estoril in blue, big triangle, no date, and the Batial in Blue, no date... yeah, it was a big pay-check!) all of them with the coupon gotten from the purchase of a rubber strap...
