To those looking for a good fix with their hex screw issues ie: 2 small screws not locking together, worried about the integrity of screws and straps etc. I was in need of 2 longer hex screws as my SF came with 4 shorter hex screws which really comprised any strap options until I thought of the...
Update: my SF has been faultless!! Since I received this gem it has been on my wrist everyday, sometimes sharing in a daily rotation but ON the wrist in some way. Over the month it has gained 25 seconds, very acceptable to me and I'm happy to say unlike other SF owners, my bezel action, crown...
Had mine for just over a week now and the honeymoon period is still looking good. Thought I'd share my quick review with you after the first 4 days from my local watch forum, TKNZ. cheers

Yup, it does feel good knowing only 45 out there. Borealis had their reasons for this which shows great integrity for their business ethic. Maria is a champion of all that is right (y)
Just got mine and it is supurb!!! Wears smaller than I'm used too but DAMN, totally awesome on the wrist. Couple of quick snaps as I was far to excited to wait ;) on a Kain Heritage Sub V
Those are fantastic pics DrewL and zumzum5150, particularly liking the Orange NATO (y) FYI only 45 of the BLACK dial/modern hands ended up making it past QC, so to those that have one, you won't see many around on other wrists ;)
Seeing all these great photos and reading all this high praise makes me stoked!!!! Stoked, because while I'm not part of this project I am with the scorpionfish. You WIS give me joy, I can firmly see now the quality and detail Maria puts into her work which makes me even more excited for the SF...
Phlabrooy that's great to know. Thanks for posting as there were a lot of curious WIS wanting to know this. Even at a low production of 190 units it's still LTD too me. Did Maria indicate what the split ratio might be or is it just what people order? The web site says 'black dial, modern hands...
This point was covered back somewhere around page 22 with a quote from borealis saying they had the opportunity to work a project with 100 cases from a parent company. No- one has come back to confirm this yet but evidence does suggest Pakz is correct. If this is the case then the first 100...
based purely on personal preference.
Most of my watch purchases are driven by that initial gut reaction you get when you see something you simply must have in the watch box. The aesthetics of the dial, case design, hand set and Lume. For me, movement is secondary as mostly I can not afford high...
Great reply DrNikolai, freshing this thread 2x a day at best is the minimum amount  I thinks it's fair to say that everyone who preordered this piece did so because they saw something unique (yes even in a homage), something of quality, something timeless and something us mere mortals can...
Here's another good site for straps.

I have asked this question of Maria already as soon as I saw what an awesome job they did with the leather strap for the Sea Dragon. Sadly for the Scorpionfish the bracelet is the only option (that I know of) so you will definitely be looking after market for 24mm
