Just a quick shout-out to Maria & the Borealis team. I am very impressed & also it's quite refreshing that a company such as yours takes the time to reply to everyone's questions & also the fact that you care what the customer would like in a watch. Well done & I'm looking to getting my 1st Borealis watch (Seafarer II) blue/orange bezel, depending on pricing.

You can't go wrong with any of the color options, so since I have many black dial & a few blue dial dive watches, I'm going to go with the blue/orange version subject to pricing. Plus it will be my NY Mets & NY Knicks watch same colors.

Comparing the bracelet end links of the Seafarer I with the renders for Seafarer II, it appears that the first link will pivot much closer to the body of the watch on Seafarer II. If this is true, it will effectively shorten the length measurement to something less than 53 mm.

great! Are the indices applied and have polished frames like on scorpionfish?
what's the timeframe for the preorder and delivery?

Looks amazing, including the turbine bezel (thank you so much for all the renders, Maria). I'm in! Can't wait to pre-order this amazing watch!! :D

HEV still at 9 o'clock?
Glad to see you've come aboard on the turbine bezel bit! Yes, it gives a bit more distinct identity to the watch.
Love the curved down lugs .... should be fine on smaller wrists. The Seafarer was 56mm L2L, and had those awful protruding fixed centre end links. This one being 3mm shorter L2L, with the active end link should wear very much shorter.
This is now 15.7mm thick as opposed to 17mm for the Seafarer previously.
Overall, looks to be a very much improved, and a comfortable 4000m deep diver.
The renders look great, Maria !
The choices ..... !!!! Difficult !
Well done !

At 15.7mm thick, it's now slimmer than the Sea Hawk and Poseidon !

Wonder if the sapphire is still 6mm thick ?

That's really more than promising... a great great deep diver. If the prices are right for me (and I feel they will be), I very much think that I'll get both the Estoril and Seafarer II to keep company to my Seadragon and Scorpionfish. If timing permits, 2015 will be my "Borealis Year".
The only tiny little regret I have is that the lugs are not drilled. But I understand the idea of the look being more refined and sleeker without them, even if in terms of practicality they're a must.

The depth rating is now 4000m which is fine, otherwise I would have suggested a finesse, 2200 fathoms.
Personally, on such a massive watch, I would have loved drilled lugs and shorter lugs, with a slightly concavity in the case, so to perfectly fit small wristed people and avoid any visible space between rubber or leather straps and case.
