Pre-Order Borealis Seafarer II 4000m Automatic Diver Watch

I will definitely buy the black dial, black bezel, with C3 lume. Two of my favourite divers are the Helson SD and Armida A4.
The Seafarer 11 incorporates some of the features I like in both, so this new Seafarer hits my sweet spot.
I just hope the rehaut is not engraved or tapering like that of the Rolex DSSD as all that engraving is to much. A quality S/Steel bracelet with ratcheting dive clasp will make it a winner I'm sure.
Think I would prefer to keep the 4000m rating on the dial, rather 3999 or 3998 as most people are not superstitious on the number 4, or why not remove 4 from the date wheel also.
But as I would buy it for the case size and shape, plus the C3 lume alone, then for me superstition is not an issue. I look forward to the pre-ordering. Nice job.

Agreed No on the turbine bezel, seiko did it on the sawtooth diver, but on this one I say No, agreed might not order with this, I still like the Merc hands if you were going to offer options hands would be better than bezels

Maria, FANTASTIC !
This time I think you have really nailed it !
Great turbine bezel, to really set it apart from the norm, and those GP hands are really what we need for that aggressive deep diver look.
Just make this ..............

Regards,
MAGNIFICENT MARIA, thank you, you have nailed it, I can't wait for the pre-order on this version, unique, nice Lume area contrasting handset, aggressive, with a 4000M rating any desk diver would be proud to wear.

The Seiko Sawtooth is actually very different. The turbine is just a twisted version of a normal bezel teeth.
Wonder what kind of bracelet clasp the Seafarer II will have ?
The trend nowadays seems to be more the two button Omega type of clasp. Maybe for a bigger, heavy watch like this you need the triple lock, fold over, with safety clasp, for more security ?

It's definitely looking like a great watch!
I wasn't sold on it at the beginning (a bit "bland", a bit too much of a "DSSD homage" despite some Seiko heritage to it too). Now, it's really become something new, with obvious multiple influences but the mix is different. And great looking I must say.

That turbine bezel really makes the watch. It's THE element that creates a distinct personality, a cool new look. Plus, functionally, its a great bezel, very easy to grab and manipulate.

Home run!!!!

My thoughts exactly PAKZ, perfectly stated, if we're talking baseball, Maria you and Borealis have hit a "Grand Slam", IMHO.

(Maria - just as a heads up, I never received any email notification about the new Seafarer II poll, I found out about the new thread on Facebook, hope everyone else gets notified to vote).

Yes Maria, I have subscribed, and have been receiving update emails.
Just never received any email concerning the new vote thread, did see the link when I visited the old voting thread, and Facebook post.

Again, sorry to be late to the party. I'm interested in the project, but as a proud owner of a Seafarer I'm partial to reprising the (Tudor) snowflake hands set on the II. I realize I'm very much in the minority. Alternatively, Rolex-style Mercedes hands. Again, I realize I'm in the minority and my Sea Dweller interest is apparent.

Was just wondering, if we go with the V3 with the turbine bezel, and GP style handset, will the minute hand be orange on all the models, or only on the orange/black bezel models ?

Also, I agree that the seconds hand should have an orange tip, like that of the Scorpionfish.

This is what we are proposing

Of course it is possible to have all minute hands in orange (but no complexity as silver for some, orange for others on same dial color as would be a headache for factory).
